00-04 Spherical Shift Bearings

These spherical bearing inserts replace the rubber bushings found in the ends of the shift cables that came on the 00-04 Manual Transmission Equipped cars.   They help to improve the feel and sharpness of the shifting.   

 If you have the ball and cup arrangement you need to remove the ball from the shift linkage and use the included bolts.   

There are several different styles of cables but to verify these should work on cars that have the internal slave throw out bearing and the plastic shifter base.  

The ~ diameter of the ID of the shifter eyelet should be 26mm, please verify this correct for your application.   

What makes these parts work is the teflon lubricated Aurora Spherical Bearing at the center which allows the cable end to rotate and pivot.   This will not cause any extra stress on the cables unlike a solid bushing insert which puts the push/pull cable into bending with misalignment.
