240 Redrilled Front Hubs
This product is a modified 240 front wheel hub that allows for alternate Bolt Circle Diameters (BCD).
These can be very useful for the mounting of wheels intended for other vehicles, especially for vehicles with rear axle swaps that may have different BCD in the rear than in the front.
The hole diameter that we are using is 12.7mm which matches Late Model GM applications. If you want to supply your own wheel studs you should be looking for a wheel stud with a .509" diameter knurl. We have had a customer inform us that regular GM late model wheel studs fit the hubs loosely and they had to purchase ARP units to get a good fit.
Compatible ARP wheel stud part numbers (the ones that we use and supply)
#100-7708 - M12x1.5 - 2.5" UHL
#100-7713 - M12x1.5 - 3.25" UHL
#100-7731 - 1/2x20 - 2.675" UHL
The max bolt pattern that the 240 hubs can accommodate is 5x114.3 mm (5x4.5"). We can redrill other patterns such as 5x112, 5x110, and 5x100 as well.
Product notes:
These are used hubs, they will come delivered with used bearing races in them, we recommend removing the bearing races and installing new bearings on installation. These get a quick scrubbing & degreasing before they are machined. You can use the cleanliness of the hubs received as a guide for what we are looking for for a full core refund.

For orders placed after 12/24/2023, the price for hub cores is now $45 each, we will include a prepaid return label. To receive the full core refund, we need a set of hubs back cleaned of excessive grease, dust, and without any damage. They do not need to be spotless but returning them to us reasonably clean helps us not overcharge for this product. The wheel studs all get discarded so we will not use those in our evaluation. Hubs that have not been cleaned will be eligible for a core refund of $20 each. If the hubs are damaged they are not eligible for any core refund.
Frequently Asked Question:
Q: Do you need to redrill the rotors to use these hubs
A: No you do not. With 100 through 112, you do not need to modify the rotors at all, they will simply slide on due to the large diameter holes in the rotor to clear the shoulder of the factory studs. With the common 114.3mm pattern, there is a slight interference of ~1mm. This can easily be removed with a round or half-round hand file and should take about 10 minutes per rotor.
Q: Can I reuse my stock wheel studs?
A: No, not on the alternate pattern. The reason for this change is we want to leave as much material intact as possible on the wheel hub. The larger diameter patterns like 5 x 114.3 would make the wheel hub weak if a stock-sized stud was used in that position. They would also necessitate more material removal from the rotors to clear the large shoulders on the stock studs.
